Have you hosted a party in your home when suddenly a guest spills wine on your precious carpet? Worry no more there are solutions to your problem on how to clean a wine stain from your carpet. These are our quick tips to remove those stains;

Since there are products available from your local supermarket you’ll be surprised that many things can be found in your kitchen. Vinegar, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide are just a few examples that may instantly remove wine stains on your carpet. Here are some quick tips:

Dab and add a little water – dab the split wine as quickly as possible so that the stain will not remain in contact with the carper for long then use a thick cloth or towel; and when it’s absorbed, sprinkle a little water to it and gently rub the carpet.

Washing Detergent and vinegar – if the stain is still there put a little vinegar on the stain let it sit for a few minutes then mix washing detergent with water gently rub the mixture on the carpet until the stain fades then rinse and wash.

Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda – blot wine as much as possible then spray hydrogen peroxide to the stain, sprinkle a handful of baking soda on the spot; make sure that the whole spot is covered. Let it sit for at least 3-5 minutes then rinse and let it dry.
